What Matters Most

This time of year, as we greet family and friends and gather for Christmas and Holiday activities, it is the perfect time to count our blessings. Of course, for me, the blessings of faith, our family, our health, our friends, our work, and even our country are on this important list.

Karen and I have served the horticulture industry since 1988, when we first took on the position of managing and leading the Southern Nursery Association in Atlanta. Over the years, the number of amazing people we have met and worked with creates a list that is difficult even to imagine. I have often said:

"There is something very special about everyone who works with plants."

If you have had any career outside our industry, you most likely are nodding YES right now to my quote. You have seen, in contrast, what an amazing group of people we have the blessing to work with in our everyday experiences.

So, as we celebrate Christmas and this Holiday Season, Karen and I want to express our deep appreciation for every one of you who is a part of The Garden Center Group! From our Garden Retailers, our Team of Service Providers, our Partners for Success and Fall Event Sponsors, and our Industry Association Teams, you are on our blessings list.

We are blessed and honored to be working with you! You are a big part of What Matters Most to us!
